This session will present both future trends and current examples of products and services for people with disabilities in the field of telecommunications. The speakers will be looking into the implications, ethical issues and potential of Ambient Intelligence for people with disabilities with many of the examples being drawn from the recently published COST 219ter book “Towards an inclusive future – impact and wider potential of information and communication technology”.
