http://www.sc.ehu.es/dolado BCS Quality SIG SQM'98 Advance Information and Call for Papers The British Computer Society Quality Special Interest Group's 6th Annual International Conference Software Quality Management '98 6-8 April 1998 (with Tutorials on Thursday 9 April) Amsterdam, The Netherlands SPONSORED BY Origin QMCC Triad CEPIS INTRODUCTION The sixth international conference on Software Quality Management, SQM'98, aims to promote co-operation and greater understanding among both academics and practitioners by providing an opportunity to share research and practical experience. THE CONFERENCE SQM'98 will be held in the beautiful city of Amsterdam, Netherlands from Monday 6 to Wednesday 8 April 1998. Tutorials will be held on Thursday 9 April. CALL FOR PAPERS This year, as before, two kinds of submission are invited: A formal paper on a case study or of a research nature from industrial and/or academic authors; or A management summary from practitioner authors. For formal papers, a 300 word abstract is required by 19 September 1997 to be followed by a full paper of up to 12 pages by 1 December 1997. Abstracts and papers will be rigorously peer reviewed. Authors will receive feedback in the form of a selection of referee's comments. On acceptance the final manuscript will be required by 30 January 1998. Accepted papers will be included in conference proceedings which will be available to delegates and will also be published internationally. For management summaries, peer review is on the basis of the two page management summary and a sample of the presenter's visual material which must be produced in a specified format available from the conference Secretariat. These are due by 27 October 1997. On acceptance, the final 2 page management summary and full set of reduced visual aids are due by 27 February 1998.
