Arantxa was graduated at the Basque Country's University here in Donostia in 1993. She was one of the first Erasmus Students of the Chemistry Faculty (University of Kent at Canterbury in England, 4^th undergraduate year 1991-1992). On the 10^th of June (1999) she defended satisfactorily her tesis entitled:

"Water Dehydrogenation by First-Row Transition Metal Cations.

A Paradigm for Two-State Reactivity."
