Simultaneous Dielectric and Rheomeric measurements
            This spectrometer allow to perform simultaneous dielectric and rheological measurements over a broad (and complementary) frequency ranges and covering a wide temperature interval.  (see an example below)

E4980A Precision LCR Meter by Agilent

  • Frequency range: 20 - 2e6 Hz

  • Sensitivity better than tan(delta) ~1e-4

ARES-LS2 Rheometer by TA Instruments

  • Frequency range: 1e-3 - 30 Hz

  • Sensitivity better than tan(delta) ~1e-4


Temperature range: 140 - 600 K  (stability better than ± 0.1 K)


Samples: Solids and viscous liquids

  • A parallel plate capacitor of  25 mm diameter and variable thickness, formed with the sample by using the two parallel plates of the rheometer as electrodes is measured simultaneously.
